Demko – Clandestine Vol. 1 & 2

This is a big release people, this is a really big release. Jay Demko has opened up the vault on his home recordings spanning nearly 16 years or work. Clandestine Vol. 1 & 2 shows the huge spectrum of experimental creativity that this multi-instrumentalist is capable of. Jay was the well known front man for the post hardcore/emo band Lincoln in the early 90s, who some years after their disbandment, delved deep into the territory of self exploration through music. Songs touch on everything from pseudo-psychedelic acoustic guitar, garage-ish jams, reggae and just outright weird. That being stated, none of it sounds exactly like any of that. It only serves to give you some frame of reference to place what you are about to hear. Go check this out right now.
